Spring Summer Staples

Spring is here (even though it may not feel like it) and with that comes a fresh new season of fashion with lighter colours and less layers. It is officially time for our overcoats, scarfs and hats to find their way to storage, so we can make room for our new spring staples! Canadian fashion brands are fresh on our minds from Toronto Fashion Week last month – so our spring staples guide is all Canadian EH! :)

If you purchase nothing else this season, these pieces will keep you on trend and looking fab!

Rudsak – Rajah Sneakers ($175)

All of our fav celebrities and fashion bloggers across the globe are rockin’ white sneakers. From dress pants and skirts to casual denim – the sneaker trend is being worn with everything. Fashion forward AND comfortable? Yes please!

Aritzia Wilfred- Crevier Knit Top ($85)

We’ve all started working on our summer bod so, why not show it off! Knit crops are huge this season and a perfect laid back chic choice to go with high waisted denim or a pencil skirt. We love this neutral style from Aritzia.

Pink Tartan – Off Shoulder Shirt in White ($295)

If you own anything off the shoulder this spring/summer you’re in the know and on-trend! Try pairing your off the shoulder top from Pink Tartan with your favourite denim and white sneakers for a casual day look.

Kaltenbock – MYKITA Janis ($590)

A leading Canadian optical in Toronto, Kaltenbock always offers the best and most exclusive styles. This spring, round frames and a 70’s vibe is a total must have. These MYKITA shades are the perfect addition to any spring wardrobe.

Smythe – Wrap Trench in Carbon ($1040)

The popular Candian brand is best known for their super stylish blazers and quality outerwear. This spring they’ve given us their version of the long trench and we love it! The Carbon colour is the perfect neutral to go with your entire wardrobe – making it a definite must have in our books.
