Toni & Guy

Second generation hairdressers, Toni, Guy, Bruno and Anthony opened their first TONI&GUY in England in 1963. Currently the brothers have over 500 locations globally. Bruno Mascolo, born in Italy, raised in London, fell in love with America and moved here in 1985 to Dallas, TX to open his first location in the USA. Guy closely followed and began the growth of the company in the Americas. The Mascolo family is still hands on, with Bruno and Zak as active leaders. They are implementing a large growth strategy to open salons and academies throughout North America.

In the TONI&GUY Academies, students learn how to become more than just hairdressers – they learn how to become entrepreneurs. They are taught TONI&GUY techniques and become proficient in both cutting and colouring. With a strong emphasis on finishing skills and educating the client on how to recreate the look at home, they are prepared for the salon environment with the interpersonal skills needed to communicate with clients and coworkers and build and retain their clientele. The curriculum is based on a foundation of Zak Mascolo’s reimagined CLASSICS collection, featuring eleven cut and nine colour techniques, as well as fringes, up-do’s and specialty styling.
